Who am I?
I am a mum of two in my mid 30's... and having spent nearly 15 years working my way up the career ladder (firstly into senior roles in the pharma/FMCG industry, then for a big charity), I now find myself a full-time carer for my 18mth old daughter with type 1 diabetes. Whilst I desperately wish my daughter didn't have diabetes, I love spending time with her and cannot believe that enjoy being a full time mum and carer - but I do!
Why is this interesting?
It may well not be for most of you - but for those who have changed careers, had a change in life focus, or have a child with a long term illness or chronic condition - I hope this is of interest.
